You're likely to fish for Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and more if conditions allow. For these species, you're likely to use spinning tackle both light or heavy depending on what the targeted species is. Capt. Conrad also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Charlotte Harbor Angling Adventures is a child-friendly charter service, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You'll be fishing aboard a 20' Bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as a live well full of bait necessary for the day of fishing.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

After our first fishing charter didn’t work out, we reached out to Captain Conrad with a last-minute request. I sent him a message around 9:30 p.m., not expecting a reply until the next morning, but he responded quickly. After checking the tide conditions, we adjusted our start time, and less than 12 hours later we were on the water. The action started immediately at our first spot—we were catching fish almost instantly. Then Captain Conrad spotted some tarpon rolling behind us, so we switched gears, and before long we were hooked up with an incredible tarpon. Throughout the trip we caught a wide variety of fish, stayed on the bite, and had an absolute blast. Captain Conrad was knowledgeable, flexible, and worked hard to put us on fish. I’d definitely recommend booking a trip with him, and we’ll absolutely be back for another charter! Failed to take pictures of all the fish. Having to much fun catching.

Capt. Conrad made sure we caught fish and had a great time. He knew were to put us to have a great day. He'll be our first call next time were in town. We all hooked a great variety and made sure our 11 yr old had an awsome time. Capt Conrad was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot. He stayed in touch through messages and called us to make sure everything went smooth meeting up at the launch.
What a fantastic day! We caught more fish than we expected, and our guide was absolutely outstanding. He was patient, helpful, and knew exactly where to take us for the best fishing. His expertise and positive attitude made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking again!

Captain Conrad was awesome! We did a nearshore trip and caught plenty of snapper and snook. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to keep us on the fish. He even casted and hooked fish with us and would hand the fish off to one of us to reel it in. We had a great time and would definitely book with him again. Highly recommend!

We had a great time with Capt Conrad. This was the first time any member of the group had been fishing from a boat. Everybody had a fantastic time. We caught many fish and many varieties due to Conrad's knowledge of the area. If the fish were not biting in one area he quickly moved to another. He is very courteous and patient and everybody had a great time with him. We would not hesitate to recommend to anybody. Thanks to Conrad 👍👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
