He grew up in Belmar and has been fishing and spearfishing the area since 1984. His knowledge of the wrecks and rocks where the fish live is second to none. By far the friendliest Captain and crew around with lots of stories to go along with your fishing trip!
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Tautog, Flounder, Cod, and whatever else is biting. On the day of your trip you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You'll step aboard a 100' Headboat with capacity for 70 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Rods and reels and your first sinker and hook are all provided free of charge.Depending on the season different baits are provided free as well.Feel free to bring your own rods and reel as well and any other tackle you would like.
Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The boat was good size, clean, and fit everyone comfortably. Everyone caught fish in my party. Not all were the size needed to keep, but overall the entire boat was successful in getting fish. The crew were all exceptional. So helpful, kind, patient, and personable. 10/10 would recommend.

Caught many Fluke but not large enough to keep. Got 1 to bring home & it was delicious ! Made the Classic French dish Sole Bonne Femme. Boat, Captain & his Crew were all friendly, welcoming & extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back next month ! Highly recommend.
The fish weren’t really biting today, but they made the experience great for my two kids and me. My daughter did get a couple. We aren’t really fishers, but wanted the experience. The crew made everything easy. Would definitely recommend.

Went out fishing with a group of 11 and the whole trip was great. The Captain and crew were extremely helpful from boarding on to fishing and setting up rods. Definitely booking another trip with them.

The captain put is over the fish. we did catch a good amount but a lot were small and just missing the 18” length . He had the boat drift, most had action and then he would circle back around and drift it again. the mates were on top of their game and helped everyone onboard.
