Around here the fishing is popular for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Catfish, Cobia, White Perch, Rockfish, Spanish Mackerel, Whiting, and more with any luck. During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Thomas Loch runs a 42' Gene Travis Custom bay boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are supplied for you as well as bait and lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 20% Mate Fee is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Loch put us onto the fish almost immediately and the fishing never slowed down! The captain and first mate were very pleasant and knowledgable, gave us tips, fun information, and a great over all experience. The boat was beyond clean and all the equiptment provided functioned perfectly. Would definitely reccomend booking with Lochjaw Charters!

We had a great time. Nearly had a full load of people (can have up to six, we had five) and we all caught fish the entire time. Capt knew where to take us to make sure we got our moneys worth. We did the four hour bottom fishing trip and came home with enough for dinner for a week. Capt and first mate are great to chat with, made us feel comfortable and helped us out the entire time. Six stars of if I could. We will definitely be returning and hope to get out on the bay. Thanks again!
