The Canaries is considered one of the best locations in the world to find an abundance of large big game species due to the influence of the Atlantic currents. It is the only place in the world where there is a good possibility to catch Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Spearfish, Bluefin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Longfin Tuna (Albacore), Yellowfin Tuna, Mako Shark, Swordfish, Wahoo and Dorado.

On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You'll be dropping lines from a 32' Luhrs 32 sportfishing vessel with room for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (transparent spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquors.
