Renegade Fishing Charters 

Cannot recommend Captain Cole and first mate Terry highly enough! From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We landed a tarpon — an absolute thrill — and my 14-year-old son had the time of his life. You can tell these guys take real pride in their work and customer service. If you’re looking for a top-notch fishing charter, look no further. We’ll definitely be back!

The most important part for us was that Captain Colt actually included us in the decision making process. He asked what we wanted out of our trip and acted on it. He also didn’t hesitate to move after a spot wasn’t providing results. Once we got enough for a few dinners, he asked whether we wanted to stay or go after trophy fish. We went after the trophy fish. Didn’t end up catching any, but it wasn’t from lack of effort. We watched several big ones chase our baitfish, just couldn’t force them to bite. Also, First Mate Jessica was not only really helpful with getting us set up all day, but my daughter, wife, and I all agreed that she was just super cool to learn from and talk to. Not sure when we’ll be back to Islamorada, but we will definitely look this boat up again when we do!

Captain Cole and Jessica...the absolute best. My family has been on several fishing charters in this area over the past year. The Renegade crew by far, provided the best charter my family has gone on. Captain Cole and Jessica were incredible at finding the "it" location to catch, catch, and catch some more. They taught us how to reel and catch the fish correctly without injury to the fish and to be able to ensure the fish got into the boat. If you are looking for a charter were you catch a lot of fish with an outstanding crew....Captain Cole and Jessica on The Renegade is the charter for you!!!!!

I told the charter I wanted to go specifically for sailfish and I couldn’t have chosen a better day despite the wind and temp fighting against me hahaha . Bite was slow in the beginning but Jessica the mate is a machine constantly back and forth making sure all the lines were good to go . Captain was also a hero on this trip cuz it was windy and cold and he didn’t have any protection against wind or splashing water but he kept his eyes on the water looking for signs of sailfish . Ended up catching not one but 2 sailfish , 1 tuna , 1 cobia , and a needlefish. These guys are awesome , knowledgeable, and professional and made me feel like family . Definitely recommend

This was a gift for the confirmation of my son. We live and fish in Italy but the experience was great. Capt.Cole changed anchoring point at least 3 time due to the weather variation and his assistant was prompt in each manoeuvre. Plus the constant and friendly suggestions about fishing technics

We HIGHLY recommend Cole and his wife Jesse for the ultimate fishing experience! They are both very talented, knowledgeable and friendly. We caught 8 mahi and one tuna, they got also got us hooked onto one giant tuna as well. Book them for a thrill

This was amazing, Jess and Cole were outstanding! I will definitely be back to fish with this crew! They knew exactly what they were doing and worked together so well. Jess made sure everyone had their chance to snag a fish, she is the best 1st Mate!! They suggested a few restaurants that could prepare the fish for us, one was walking distance from our hotel! Delicious! They also were able to suggest a few options to get the fish home. Thanks for a great time, we'll be back.

We had a great trip with captain Cole. We booked the trip very easy and were able to fish everything we wanted. Everybody was so kind and caring and great to fish with. We felt very welcomed at the boat. Everybody was super organized and had so much knowledge about Islamorada, the boat, the water and the fish. Highly recommended! We will came back! We arrived and the CAPT and Jessica were raring to go. We got out and went to work, the first spot we immediately hooked up and lost it to a bigger fish. We tried a couple more times before changing gears targeting another spices. The Team of Cole and Jess were great they improvised and accommodated very well. We caught some very big fish and had a blast. Try these guys out.

We went on a 6 hour trip with Captain Cole and first mate Jesse. They were both amazing. We had a slow start to the morning but that did not last long. They hooked us on 4 sailfish and we landed three of them. They were all nice sized fish. The crew were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this trip for anyone.
