Destin's Boggy Bayou Inshore Charters invites you and your family on a fishing trip in Choctawhatchee Bay, West Bay and the sounding areas. Trips depart from a number of locations from West Bay near Panama City Beach and Destin to Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Sail into the bay and bayous that surround it. The charter is owned and operated by Captain Dexter Early who is very child-friendly and loves taking families with kids fishing.
Captain Dexter will take you out on his 18-foot Tracker aluminum fishing boat, originally built in 2016. It is powered by a 60 HP Suzuki engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. This awesome speed means you can move from one productive spot to the next very quickly, and not lose out on the fishing time.
The vessel is fully equipped with the necessary USCG-approved safety equipment and contains all up-to-date electronics such as a fishfinder and a GPS. There is also a livewell on board for the baits, as well as rods, reels, tackle, live baits, and lures. Your trip also includes a fishing license.
Destin's Boggy Bayou Inshore Charters will take you fishing for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, and Sheepshead using a variety of techniques. For example, you can use live bait to catch a lot of different fish or be selective and target larger fish with artificial bait.
Destin's Boggy Bayou Inshore Charters try to tailor their charters to the skill level and desire of the client. Trips can depart from West Bay near Panama City Beach, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Navarre, and Santa Rosa Beach. Captain Dexter was absolutely fantastic! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was so patient and kind to my 12 year old daughter and very helpful. We made some great fishing memories thanks in large part to Captain Dexter. We look forward to coming back.

Captain Dexter was amazing. He was patient and understanding with my 12 year old grandson and took time to actually teach him. We caught several nice fish and seen turtles and dolphins. An absolute fantastic experience. 10/10 would recommend fishing with Dexter.

We had a wonderful fishing trip with Captain Dexter! He was so kind, down to Earth, accommodating to whatever experience we wanted to have (timing wise, music/silence, types of fishing techniques, etc.). My boyfriend had experience fishing but I definitely needed a refresher and Capt Dexter was very patient and gave great tips even for experienced fishers! We caught over 50+ fish near the end (though we didn’t get to keep all of them still so cool)! Great trip, highly recommend!
