    (3/4 Day Trip)

    Amazing Experience

It was such a great time! Jorge is an amazing fisherman/guide. He was good at moving around to different spots to find the fish that were biting. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, with great company and plenty of fish.

    (4 Hour Trip (AM))

    Good Times!!

Thanks Captain Sam! The family had fun. Sam brought every bait known to man. At times we couldnt keep our lines baited fast enough. When the bite slowed, off to the next spot. Sam’s passion for fishing some could say it’s an obsession. If you want to go catching, give ole Salty Sam a try!!

Amberjack fishing is about raw power and steady pressure. Amberjacks are prized game fish that live around reefs and wrecks in warm, deep water. They hit hard, dive for structure, and keep the rod bent. Anglers target them for the nonstop fight and the chance to land a true heavyweight.

You can catch Amberjack by reef fishing, offshore fishing, or deep sea fishing over wrecks and ledges. Bottom fishing with sturdy tackle and live bait works very well. Vertical jigging is also deadly. Drop a metal jig to the bottom, then rip it up fast to trigger a strike. When fish rise, popping or trolling large plugs can draw explosive bites.

Expect a tough, vertical battle and long runs toward the bottom. A belt or harness helps during the fight. Heavy rods, strong leaders, and sharp hooks are standard for Amberjack fishing. This trip suits anglers who want a serious test, but first-timers can succeed with clear guidance. Bring sun protection, polarized glasses, non-slip shoes, snacks, and water. Offshore seas can be choppy, so plan for motion comfort if needed.

Before you go, check local rules where you fish. Confirm fishing license and permit needs for your group. Review current seasons, size limits, and bag limits for Amberjack. Ask your captain about any area closures and general harvest guidance in your location.
