    (4 Hour Salmon Fishing Trip)

The crabs where a fabulous bonus

The whole day was a great experience. We had very little experience fishing and we landed 4 coho salmon. Then on the way back we check on some crab traps which were great for dinner that evening.

    Awesome experience!!!!

Awesome trip. Captain found about 5 lbs of Shrimp, 25+ Spanish Mackerel and about 4 dozen Crabs. The first mate Chris made it a hands on experience. Meant a lot to us Andy was the 1yr anniversary of our fathers passing so we will be doing this every year.

(Full Day Trip – Multi Species)

    Gobbledy Gobbledy!!!

Our family had the best day on our charter. All 8 of us caught multiple fish of many different species, and Captain Andrew helped instill what we believe will be a life long love of fishing in our kiddos, along with a deep respect for wildlife and the ocean. So much fun jigging and trolling, we will definitely be back for more fishing 🎣!!!

    very cool trip out!!

We booked a 6 hour trip. We started out slow on the shrimp the first try and switched to fishing. We got on the Spanish mackerel and after catching around 30 they switched back to trying to get some shrimp. This time we were able to get a fair share of shrimp .Then we checked crab traps and we were able to get a basket of blue crabs. Now its time for a seafood dinner. Thanks Captain John and first mate Chris for a great day out!! Dont hesitate to book your trip with these guys!!

Crab fishing is a hands-on, family-friendly way to catch delicious seafood. Anglers target species like Dungeness, Blue Crab, Stone Crab, Snow Crab, Red Rock, and Mud Crab. The goal is simple. Set your gear, let it soak, and haul in a tasty catch.

Most trips use pots, traps, rings, or snares. A pot or trap is a cage that Crabs crawl into for bait. A ring is a flat net you lift quickly from the bottom. A snare is a looped rig that tightens when a Crab grabs the bait. You can crab from shore, a pier, or a boat. Common baits include fish scraps or chicken.

Expect a relaxed, stop-and-check style of fishing. Crews set gear in bays, estuaries, or near structure, then return to pull it. Kids and first-timers love the quick excitement of each haul. Bring gloves for safe handling and a cooler with ice. A ruler or gauge helps you measure shell width before keeping a Crab. Watch those claws and handle Crabs from the back.

Before your trip, check local rules for licenses or permits. Seasons, daily limits, and size limits vary by area and species. Some places restrict harvesting females or certain body parts. Many areas also have gear-marking rules. Always follow current regulations and keep only legal Crabs.
