  Amazing trip!!

  Caleb gave us a lot of great information about the area, salmon, and fishing. We caught 4 Chinook Salmon despite it being a slower time of year. There was 6 of us (7 including Caleb) but there was still plenty of room. Highly recommend!!

  If you're looking for a top-tier fishing experience, Caleb’s Guide Service in Portland is the one to book. I had an incredible day on the water with Captain Caleb. Everything from the boat and gear to his expertise and attitude was spot on. The boat was clean, comfortable, and outfitted with high-quality equipment. Caleb was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped aboard. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to fishing, he makes sure you are having a great time and know what you are doing. Caleb knew exactly where to go and kept me in the fish throughout the trip. I caught two beautiful King salmon and had a third monster on that was so strong it straightened the hook! Beyond the fishing, Caleb was just fun to be around. He shared local knowledge, great conversation, and even cleaned my catch at the end of the day. It felt more like fishing with an experienced friend than a guided tour. If you’re anywhere near Portland, do not miss the chance to fish with Caleb’s Guide Service. I’ll absolutely be booking again next time I'm in town.

  Thanks George appreciate the thoughtful words. It was a great time out on the water with you fishing on the willamette river near Portland Oregon. I enjoyed hearing some of your fishing stories and getting to know you. I hope to fish with you again soon. Hope you enjoy that fresh salmon.

  Caleb was our guide for a two day trip my Boys and I took to the Portland are rivers. The first day we were fishing for Steele Head Trout on the Clackamas River. We tried pretty hard to get some but no dice, got a few big bites but they got off the line. Caleb even spent a couple more hours on the river with us trying out more spots past our time limit. He was definitely determined to put us on the fish. The second day we moved over to the Willhamete River to fish for Salmon and my son Reeled in a big one with the biggest smile on his face. Caleb was awesome, he really knew his stuff and was honest on our prospects of hauling in some fish during this time of year. We weren’t deterred and he got us on some. Great part about fishing this area is how you have so many different species you can target in such a close proximity with different rivers and types of flow. I would definitely recommend Caleb for any one looking to catch some fish anytime. I’ll be heading back again at some point myself.

  AWESOME TRIP!!!!

  Caleb was unable to make the trip due to a family emergency but solved the problem before we even knew! He found another guide to cover the trip (Kyle - shoutout) and we caught two AWESOME sized chinook salmon! Caleb and Kyle both seem like awesome individuals and super knowledgeable about fishing! Highly recommend either one of them! Also the donuts at the drop spot we had in Nehalem called Pacific Roots Coffee and Mini Donuts!
