Captain Brandon is an experienced captain who holds a USCG 100 Ton Master license. He was born and raised on Kent Island and has always loved the outdoors. Captain Brandon spent over 20 years with Langenfelder Marine, as a dredging contractor and an aggregate producer. He specializes in Oyster recovery operations, and the development of oyster and fishing reefs in the Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay, and the surrounding tributaries. He loves fishing and hunting and takes his son on the trips.

    Had a fun fishing trip with Captain Brandon and first mate Steph. Conditions were not ideal as it was cold and windy but Captain Brandon was persistent and found us a few nice stripers. Boat was a perfect size for our crew and Captain and Steph kept us entertained. We will be back for a summer run soon

    Thank you! I set this trip up to surprise my husband for his birthday. They all had such a great time!!! Thanks so much to the captain and his first mate. It was an awesome day for them.

    Fishing with Brandon

    Despite six trolling lines in the water and two electronic fish-finders, the fish were not biting--not one bite in six hours. As Captain Brandon said: "in this business we're either a hero or a zero." The captain and his mate Kevin did absolutely everything they could, but the fish were on the bottom, inert, not active. The excessive winter and excessive cold water was the possible cause. But truth be told, captain and mate did everything they possibly could and more. I plan to come back. It's a great boat, a great captain and mate...just the wrong day for fishing.

    Chasing Tail Charters was the best experience I ever had...Captain Brandon would not give up to we found fish and we did 8 over 22in Rockfish... Deck hand Stephanie knew exactly what to do and was there a quickly and efficiently.. Ready to book again before the season is over!!!

    We did not let the bad weather stop us from fishing captain Brandon Moore and his mate Tony Moore got us on the fish with the oddes against us we had are limit in two hrs. We only like to fish with rods in hand and that’s what we did plenty of live bait on hand we can’t wait to fish again tomorrow and would definitely recommend chasin tail charters!!!

    Passionate, resourceful, and incredibly fun, Chasin Tail is bound to give you the Chesapeake fishing experience you've been looking for. I've never fished for striped bass before but the experienced Captain and first mate taught me and my family plenty of tricks and tips and it was an incredibly successful trip. Definitely coming back for another trip!

    North Philadelphia crew had a ball from start to finish we caught our Striper Bass limit before noon and had a ball with the White Perch. We will be back every month until the season closes.

    We had an awesome day on Chasin Tail with Captain Brandon and his 1st mate Kevin. He took us to the perfect spot and we caught our allotment in about 2.5 hours. Highly recommend them......plus they have the coolest boat name on the Chesapeake!!!
