We caught a few meals worth of spanish mackerel and then mixed in to the exoerience some clise to the pass bottom fishing on light tackle.

6-8 hour trip in the Gulf offers a lot in one day in opportunities with a variety of fish types and fishing. The first of September offers alot of species to catch. Mahi mahi, Gag groupers, Scamp groupers, Red grouoers, Vermillion snapper, White snapper, Lanesnapper, Mangrove snapper, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, Trigger fish, Amberjack, Almocojack, Shark and Bonita for sport fun. The Red snapper are open to take on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays of each week until November 30th. Gag grouper is a short window from September 1 st to the 16 th. A long trip of 6-8 hours will allow targeting of at least 3 if not 5-6 species. A shorter trip of 4-5 hours will still allow catches often containing multiple fish species and a good bountiful catch. If your wanting a longer trip of 6-8 hours and there is just one to two people, a trip duscount of 10 percent might well be discussed and implemented.

I have had two five hours and a four hour lately in the Gulf. Each time we brought in a keeper gag grouoer, today we hooked three nondoubt. Slmost got our red snapoers but got two kings a trigger a scsmp and a nice mangrove on a five hour.
