BLUE WATER PAID OFF
Maio 19, 2026
May keeps producing offshore out of Biscayne. We had slick conditions early with light wind, clean blue water, and plenty of bait scattered along the weed lines. The ocean looked right from the second we cleared the inlet. The mahi bite stayed consistent throughout the morning. We covered ground, worked a few productive patches, and stayed tight on fish most of the trip. One colorful mahi made a strong run before hitting the deck and ending up in the box for dinner and a solid photo at the dock. We also ran into some blackfin tuna activity while pushing offshore, with a few fish busting on the surface around the current edges. Overall, a fun day with steady action and good conditions all around. This spring offshore bite has been lining up perfectly lately — clean water, good current, and mahi showing up where they should.

SURPRISE COBIA CRUSHED THE DAY
Maio 19, 2026
Solid spring conditions offshore with light wind early, clean green-to-blue water transition, and good visibility pushing along the structure lines. Current was steady, and there was plenty of bait holding over hard bottom and roaming edges — exactly the kind of setup where you stay ready for anything. While working the grounds, we ran into a surprise cobia that showed up out of nowhere and committed hard. Clean eat, strong fight, and a great finish at the boat. Fish like that always remind you to stay locked in even when you’re targeting something else. Along with the cobia action, the water had life all around — rays moving, bait schools pushing through, and steady signs of activity that kept the rods ready the entire time. Not a typical day, but a very “South Florida spring” kind of trip — you never know when a quality fish is going to show up.

MAHI MAYHEM OFF BISCAYNE — BLUE WATER FI
Maio 12, 2026
Another solid day offshore out of Biscayne Bay. Conditions lined up perfectly with clean blue water pushing in, light southeast winds early, and steady current along the weed lines. The ocean had that perfect springtime look — birds working, bait stacked up, and mahi flying through the spread. The mahi bite stayed hot all trip long. We found active fish along floating debris and current rips, keeping the crew tight on the rods from start to finish. The highlight of the day was a quality gaffer mahi that hit hard and put on a show before coming over the rail for the dock shot. It wasn’t just mahi either. The reef and offshore grounds were loaded with action. Throughout the day we also got into: Blackfin tuna Kingfish Bonita Barracuda Mutton snapper Yellowtail snapper Cero mackerel A few bigger fish made appearances too, including smoker kings and a couple mystery fish that absolutely dumped drag before finding freedom. That’s what makes May fishing out of Biscayne so good right now — every pass has a chance at something big. Overall, exactly the kind of day you want offshore in South Florida: blue water, bent rods, and fresh mahi headed to the filet table. The spring bite is in full swing and only getting better from here.

SLAMMED THE MAHI BEFORE NOON
Maio 7, 2026
Another beautiful spring day offshore with clean blue water, light winds, and good current movement along the weed lines. Conditions looked fishy from the start, and it didn’t take long before the mahi showed up. We spent the morning working scattered debris and weed patches, staying on active fish and picking away at solid mahi throughout the trip. The highlight of the day was a quality bull mahi that crushed the bait and gave the crew a great fight before coming over the rail for the dockside photo. Besides the mahi bite, we also saw some blackfin tuna moving through offshore and had a few shots at kingfish while covering water. Overall, steady action and exactly what you want to see this time of year out of Biscayne. The offshore bite is heating up fast right now, and every trip has a chance at finding good mahi in the clean water pushing down the coast.

MAHI WERE STACKED UP OFF BISCAYNE
Maio 6, 2026
One of those mornings where everything came together offshore. Clean blue water pushed in tight, weed lines were holding bait, and the mahi were exactly where they were supposed to be. Conditions stayed calm enough to cover a lot of ground and stay on active fish throughout the trip. The mahi bite was steady all morning with multiple fish coming over the rail and plenty of action for the crew. Every productive patch seemed to have fish on it, and once we got them fired up, it turned into nonstop chaos around the boat. Bright colors, screaming drags, and fish flying everywhere — classic South Florida mahi fishing. We also saw some blackfin tuna mixed in offshore while working the current edges, adding even more life to an already solid day on the water. May is shaping up exactly how you want offshore out of Biscayne right now — blue water, weed lines loaded with bait, and mahi showing up in numbers.

SPRINGTIME MAHI ACTION OFF BISCAYNE
Maio 4, 2026
The offshore bite stayed strong again on May 3 with clean blue water, scattered weed lines, and plenty of life moving offshore. Conditions were lined up perfectly for covering water and staying on mahi. It didn’t take long before the rods started going off. We picked away at fish throughout the morning, finding mahi on floating debris and current edges with steady action from start to finish. A few quality fish made it into the box, and the crew wrapped up the trip with a solid pile of fresh mahi at the dock. The water continues getting better by the week, and the amount of bait offshore has the pelagics fired up right now. Every trip lately has had a real shot at finding good mahi and nonstop action offshore. South Florida spring fishing is officially rolling
