Spring Break is approaching!!

Its the winter time, and in the fishing world, that means its time to catch some sheepshead. The fish are staging, preparing for the srping spawn. These fish pull hard and taste great. They have a really light bite and will test every bit of your fishing skills. The bite will only get better as spring approaches.

The speckled trout have made their way into the bay and are here in large numbers. These fish can be caught in very calm water, so it makes for a great trip for those that get sea sick or dont like a long boat ride to the fish. We catch these fish on light tackle in shallow water using live bait. A great trip for beginners or seasoned anglers.

Its a common misconception that the best bite is early morning. Thats simply not true. These redfish bite best on the high tide, and this time of year, that typically occurs in the afternoons. As summer approaches, these tides will begin changing cycles and higher tides can be found mid mornings.
