Resumo da Viagem

Went straight to a go to spot with water level kinda high . I had the pleasure of fishing with Shelly and Rodney this morning. Pulled into fishing spot a 6am and as fast as we could cast out , rods were bending. We fished with fishbites and boxed redfish as well as black drum. All in all total somewhere around 30 to 40 fish. Keepers and non keepers

Left the dock at 6:30am. Went looking and found a school of fish pushing water in 10 inches of water and commenced steady catching but eventually the bite went dead. Needed 3 more keeper Redfish to have our limits. Decided to fish a mighty productive spot but when anchored up I let them know how productive this spot was but the depth was wrong to fish it but gave it a try . To my surprise within literally 3 minutes we had our first rod bender. She measured 32 inches and we decided to release this breeder to spawn . In the end we netted 2 oversize 3 more keepers to finish out our limits. I have been guiding over 38 years and even though i didn't feel we would catch any there and figured i would try for 10 minutes and WOW !! See even I was surprised because there shouldn't have been any there. Fish can humble you !! Come be a guest on my boat and let me put a smile on your face
