It just keeps getting better! The surf trips are giving up good numbers of tasty fish. Have you ever tried northern kingfish? They are super tasty! Flaky mild white meat that makes great sandwiches or tacos. Besides kingfish, there are blues, croakers, spot, sharks, and rays. Great action, especially if you are introducing a child to fishing. The 4 hour boat trips are giving up a ton of fun too. Flounder are everywhere. Mostly shorts, but some nice keepers in the mix. Triggerfish have officially invaded and pop up on random structure, or chase your catch up to rhe surface. There are also plentybof sea bass put there bending rids roo. But they are not in season yet. And tog opens back up in August. Have I mentioned the sharks? They seem to be everywhere. Big ones, little ones, and everything in between. The water has been super clear and blue lately. And if you watch, you can usually spot a shark or ray cruising past. Don't wait. Book now to get in on the action and live your next big adventure!

Lots a fun action to be had on the fishing grounds. The back bays still have flounder holding out, along with some croakers. The reefs have a larger assortment of species; flounder, sea bass, tog, triggerfish, sea robin, sharks, and more. It has been fun! A lot of fun. And it should just keep getting better.

Had a great morning out on the beach despite the threatening weather. Decent action with kingfish and the bullnosed rays and butterfly rays provided drag burning excitement. Storms stayed away until we were wrapping it up for the day. So we lucked out all around.

Andy and I ran out on calm seas in search of flounder and triggerfish. We hit the reef around 8:40am, which apparently was a tad too late. The flounder bite was earlier from reports from friends. We picked at a bunch of shorts, and I was able to land one keeper at least. Loads of little sea bass to haul up too. A few skates and dog sharks in the mix. The water has been clear and blue, which is a great sign of things to co.e as the water warms. Later in the day we fmtried our luck over so.e wrecks, a shift from covering the rubble for flounder. We marked a cloud of fish hovering over the wreck. Turned out to be a lot of hungry triggers! We had a blast catching and releasing them, keeping some for the table. They are really tasty! Andy even got a porgy while dropping down to the wreck. We had action all day, and landed well over 75 fish between us. And we had some tasty fish fillets for a few meals to boot. Don't miss out!

The flounder bite continues to be good. The back bays are a little spotty with a hour to two hour bite window lately. But out front (in the ocean) on the reefs, has been getting better and better. As the waters warm the fishing and species available will improve. Surf fishing has been fun! Lots of sharks and big rays right in the breakers. Kingfish, weakfish, spot, sand perch, and more have all moved in. Boat and surf trips offer something for everyone. Call to get in on the action!

Whether you like the quiet, calm waters of the back bays, or the adventure of open ocean, fishing is getting better. As the water warms and we head into summer the flounder bite is picking up. You need to put the work in, but with good technique and a little luck, you can put a solid catch together. The water out front on the reefs has been clear and blue.
