Yesterday was truly special as we welcomed Tedd, a young and energetic angler from France, on an epic fishing trip! We started early, heading to our favorite GT spot near the shore, and soon moved to where the birds were feeding. The excitement began when we caught a skipjack tuna while trolling. But Tedd didn’t stop there! Using his small reel and jig, he skillfully reeled in five tuna and several queenfish. The highlight? Watching him fight a tuna on a small rod—pure fun! And as if the day wasn’t memorable enough, we also saved a seagull that got tangled in the line. With care, we freed it, sending it back to the skies where it belonged. A reminder that every trip is about more than just the catch—it’s about the connection to nature and the ocean. Tedd said he had a blast and promised to return soon. Had an incredible day on the water with Anton, Barbara, and a gorgeous little one from the Czech Republic! We set off from Tangalle Harbour at sunrise, greeted by stunning skies and perfect weather. ? The morning started with some trolling, followed by a great session of bottom fishing for calamari. ? We caught a few, shared some laughs, and made memories along the way. These kind-hearted, smile-filled guests made the trip a joy, and I'm grateful to have hosted them. A huge shoutout to our passionate fisherman friend Jindra, all the way from Czechia! ?? His love for fishing brought him to our waters, and he faced one of the ocean's fiercest fighters—a Giant Trevally weighing over 20 kg! The excitement was off the charts as Jindra engaged in an epic popping battle, showcasing both skill and determination. After an intense fight, he did something truly commendable—he released the GT back into the ocean, honoring the spirit of sustainable fishing. It was an unforgettable adventure filled with thrilling moments, breathtaking views, and shared camaraderie. We’re certain Jindra will be back for more, and we can't wait to welcome him again!
