The sky was heavily overcast, but with the sea beautifully calm, we just had to head out! The day started on the quiet side, but we knew the fish were further out toward the east side of the island. Knowing that a standard 4-hour charter wouldn't give us enough time to reach the hot spot, we advised our client to extend the trip—and it completely paid off! About 2 hours in, the reels started screaming! We hooked our first 2 Bigeye Tuna (Patudos). We worked the fish smoothly, and not long after, we boated another 2.
