Bucket List Blue Marlin for First Time A

June 18 was one for the books. We welcomed a family of first time offshore anglers aboard, and after a quick safety briefing and getting everyone comfortable, we headed out in search of big game fish. The day turned into a true bucket list adventure when one angler landed an incredible 93-inch blue marlin. Watching a grandson fulfill his dream of catching a marlin made the catch even more rewarding for everyone on board. The action continued with two beautiful mahi mahi, giving the family plenty of fresh fish to take home and making for an unforgettable day on the Kona coast. Trips like these are a great reminder that you do not need previous fishing experience to have an amazing day offshore. Our crew is always happy to help first time anglers every step of the way, and we're grateful to have been part of such a special family memory.
