The fishing has been great lately! On our evening trip on July 1st, we headed out to see what was biting, and the water did not disappoint. We had an awesome time getting the crew on some solid action. We managed to land a beautiful slot Red Drum—always a crowd favorite—using fiddler crabs as our bait. If you’re looking to target these, they’ve been prowling the shallows and hitting the bottom well. Later in the trip, we doubled up on Sail Cats.
