Quick Afternoon Trip!

Had Todd and his son out today for a great morning on the water! The short fluke provided nonstop action and kept the rods bent throughout the trip. We managed to put one keeper fluke in the box along with 3 sea bass and several ling for the dinner table. Plenty of bites, steady action, and a great day fishing with a father and son! ??

Took a quick afternoon scouting trip to check on the local fluke grounds, and the action was encouraging. The fluke were biting, with several shorts coming over the rail, one keeper making the box for dinner, and a big fish lost right at boatside. The bite is building, and these nearby grounds are shaping up perfectly for our quick after-work afternoon trips. A great way to get out for a few hours and bring home some fresh fish!

Another great 3-hour after-work trip on the local wrecks and reefs! We stayed close to home and found steady action with black sea bass and blackfish keeping the rods bent. A few nice sea bass made the cooler and went home for a fresh dinner. These short evening trips are a perfect way to get on the water, catch quality fish, and be back at the dock before dark. Looking forward to the next one! ?
