Nonstop Bite: Black Sea Bass & Jacks

Fifty years of friendship calls for a real celebration, and Maxie, Pat, and Bob did it right. To mark Bob’s 70th birthday, the crew hit the water for a day of fishing and reeled in a great haul of trout and redfish. Tonight, the catch of the day is heading straight to the grill for the ultimate birthday cookout!

The weatherman promised 5–10 knot winds today, but Mother Nature had other plans! Shifted our trip with Mr. Paul Newman inshore to play it safe. The pivot paid off—he boxed a nice catch of trout and redfish before the weather finally called game over. You can’t control the weather, but you can always catch fish! Respect the water, stay safe, and put fish in the cooler. Tight lines! ?

Ricky, Stalia, and Will headed down for a weekend getaway, and we kicked things off right by picking them up directly at their rental home dock this morning. The action started the second line hit the water! We were slamming redfish and speckled trout left and right—boating plenty of nice keepers while letting the smaller ones live to fight another day. Unbelievable inshore action today! ?☀️
