False Albacore have arrived

Easter weekend was very productive (during the right tides) while targeting striped bass on soft plastics. These fish were in the salt, with some pushing 30”. On Saturday, 12 year old - Josh hooked and landed a 30” striped bass during a great father & son trip under the high sun! I expect the fishing to improve with each passing day, going forward and it should be in full swing by the beginning of May! Since the moon last weekend, the Striped Bass fishing has gotten even better than it was prior. Every trip this week, has been killer - throwing big topwater plugs at XL Bass and Bluefish feeding on bunker on the surface. What fisherman dream about.. This season the bass have really chewed well in the top half of the water column, not only making it easier for clients to cast to and hook the fish, but also adding another element of excitement - watching these apex predators feed viciously on the surface, putting on a visual show. The fishing is as good as it gets, right now and the weather looks great for the foreseeable future. Lets Rock!
