My husband and I have fished numerous times while visiting Key West but this was our first time taking our teenage sons. Captain Nick made sure this trip was filled with memories to last all of us a lifetime. We were able to catch snapper, black fin tuna and dolphin. I highly recommend the 6 hour trip to allow the opportunity to fish for different types. The boat was spacious with 5 of us onboard, the weather was amazing and the Nick was skilled with finding us fish. We will definitely be returning!

Captain Nick has a very nice fishing platform with his center console.  The boat is well maintained and easy to get around while fighting fish. His fishing gear is also first class, and he brought plenty of rods.  We were targeting tarpon.  We initially were in a group of four boats looking for and chasing tarpon as they surfaced.  After 30 minutes or so we broke away to pursue plan B, which was to anchor, chum and fish since plan A was yielding no results for both us and the other 3 boats.  We had a few hooks ups and landed one 60-70 tarpon after a great 15 minute or so fight.  It should be noted that while we were successful there were boats that went home without catching and releasing a single fish.  I would highly recommend Nick.

Took my son and two of his friends on one heck if a trip. Perfect weather. did a full day trip and Nick got us on the snapper and yellow tail. We then headed offshore and hit a big pile of Mahi then iff to another spot for some deep drop…came up with two blue tile fish and a snowy grouper. 10-10 would book again.

Capt Nick was an excellent guide. Despite overcast conditions, his knowledge of the waters kept us in the fish for the entire trip!! Caught mostly keepers. It was my wife’s 1st offshore trip and she had a blast! We would highly recommend Capt Nick Collins!

It was our first time ever fishing like this so we were not sure what to expect. I booked a 6 our trip because I thought this would give us more opportunities to try different styles of fishing. We went out pretty far and caught 1 baracuda, 6 mahi mahi and 2 tuna.  The boys really enjoyed the fishing. The disappointing parts were that our captain was not very engaging. He didn’t really speak much to the boys, especially when fishing was slow. He did not make sure the boys got pictures with each of their fish for the memories either. We also did one style of fishing over the 6 hours. The last hour we didn’t get any hits on the lines and there was never an opportunity, even though there was ample time, to try something else. My boys were literally falling asleep on the boat and they all love fishing.  The opportunity was fun memories but not what we expected.
