Maritimo Fishing Dubrovnik 

My family had a great day fishing. the kids caught a bunch of fish & had a blast snorkeling. We stopped at the blue caves on the way back & did some cliff jumping. Will definitely do again next time we return to Dubrovnik

Niko was AWESOME! He got us on some great fish and met every request we had for our trip. He was patient, kind, and dedicated to making our trip memorable! Will def request him again for our return trip.

Niko was a great guy and got us on some fish. We had enough to take home for lunch which was lovely. The trip to the Blue Cave was probably not worth the detour as it was very busy and a little underwhelming but it was nice to get in the water to cool off. The 2 nervous swimmers were provided with life jackets so felt safe and was good. A bottle of water was on offer but no other drinks or snacks were provided as per the booking info. Paying at the end was a disaster. We tipped Niko in cash and were expecting to settle the balance by card as per the clear instructions we had received (which I sent to the owner) but this was not possible. Then between failing to find a working ATM, phoning our bank, trying to send bank transfers, then failing to pay through a third party link we were given, we spent far too long mucking about with payment and felt like criminals or gistages on their boat. Im sure it was awkward for Niko too. We finally paid through a paypal link which ended up costing us an extra €40 due to exchange rates. This will be our lasting memory of the trip as it was painful and embarrassing. In the end we feel disappointed and we won't be recommending them. Owner Marjan was apologetic but that didn't help at all.

Leon was amazing. Great with the kids, flexible on what to do. Funny and great to talk with. It was the kids’ first time fishing and he was patient and explained things to them. We all caught something (small but that is fine and expected with the kids). Especially recommend the sunset if with family. Will definitely go again when we are back.

Maroje was a great captain. He knew what he was talking about when it came to fishing. We went about 4 miles off the coast and caught the biggest fish I’ve ever seen. Maroje said it was around 180-200lbs. The 3 of us worked together to get that beast reeled in. I would definitely recommend this adventure.

From start to finish, this trip was faultless. Marjan, our skipper was super helpful in every aspect of the day. Boat was super comfortable and equipment was top quality. Marjan’s interest was infectious. We had a few beautiful catches, which made the day even more special. Catches were down to Marjan’s expert skills. Cannot recommend this boat and skipper enough! A must do for any family or group of friends, when in Dubrovnik. Thank you Marjan.

We had a great day with captain Marjon. He is very skilled fisherman and can teach you a lot of about tuna and other big game fishing. We first did some baitfishing and then moved to bigger fish. The highlight of the day was a huge (estimated over 100kg+) blue fin tuna which we did not manage to get up. The fight took 11 minutes and because of bad luck and one other fishing boat we lost the fish. Still, we had three guys reeling or tried to reel in the powerful tuna. Just what we were after. Marjon took good care of us with snacks and drinks. Highly recommended.
