Great fishing experience

Captain David made our experience fun and unique! He was very quick at catching our bait and then very quick to put new bait on when needed. He knew what fish we caught before we reeled them in. He also was quick at cleaning the fish after we got back. We caught 3 Spanish mackerels and a red fish. Plus multiple throw back fish like skip jacks, catfish and a baby cobia, which is rare. We also saw a shark chasing after one of the skip jacks we were reeling in. All dispite me bringing a banana on board, which is apparently bad luck. We would definitely rebook with him again.

Captain knows his stuff and spent time giving my son fishing tips and lessons throughout. Only downside was spending the first 30 minutes or so bait fishing instead of getting straight into fishing. But I’m not sure it would have made much of a difference either way. There wasn’t much biting in the heat of the day. Captain ended up taking us to a good spot and setting my son up to snag a good size fish to end the trip. Only got one but I was glad he made the effort to find him one so it wasn’t a waste.

captain dave was awesome. caught alot of fish kids loved the fly bridge and even figured out a new nickname for my wife haha. highly recommend.

Drained the gas tank

Captain Dave emptied his tank trying to find us fish! We caught a quite a few skipjack, catfish, and a couple mangrove. None of which were the species we were after, but had some good laughs and good times. Definitely would recommend booking this charter!

A great 3 hour trip

What a great afternoon for my son’s15th birthday! We went into the bayou and threw a net to catch bait. Then out into the bay to fish. We caught two good size red fish, two sea trout, one hardtail, and a few cats. We’ll be back!
