Chris, the captain did an amazing job. He was well trained on his profession. We went to different areas of the lake and when the fish wasn’t being caught, he than gave us an option to try other types of fish. When we got to the area it wasn’t on. It was 4 of us and one that never caught fish before. Amazing trip and will go again. We had an amazing time and it was worth every minute. Chris was very patient with the new member to fishing. They were catching as many as the rest of us. Thanks very much for my son’s birthday out on the lake.

Had an amazing time on our guided fishing trip! The water was calm and beautiful, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Our guide was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable—he answered all our questions and even taught us some new techniques that made the experience even better. The whole trip was smooth and relaxing, from the pleasant boat ride to having all the gear provided for us. We literally just had to show up and enjoy the day. To top it off, he even filleted our catch for us at the end! Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free day on the water.

We had a fantastic experience with Lakeside Fishing Service and our captain, Chris, on Lake Lewisville. My seven-year-old granddaughter had been begging me for a long time to take her fishing on a real boat, and Chris made that first experience absolutely memorable. He was incredibly patient with her, teaching her how to set the bail on the fishing rod, how to bob the lure up and down, and even reminding her to proudly shout “Fish on!” when she got a bite. She took to it right away and has already said she wants to go back. Chris was just as patient with me and my son-in-law as we asked questions about reeling in bigger fish and learning better techniques. More than once, I had to call him over to help unhook a fish that had swallowed the hook a little too deep, and he handled it quickly and kindly every time. He kept us moving to different spots around Lake Lewisville to make sure we had the best chance of catching fish, and he definitely delivered. At the end of the trip, he cleaned all of our fish for us. All in all, it was a great experience from start to finish. Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the trip enjoyable for all three generations of our family. Highly recommend Lakeside Fishing Service!

​We booked this charter to celebrate a milestone 50th birthday, and the Captain absolutely delivered. He knew exactly where to go and put us right on top of some incredible fishing holes. We ended up bringing in a fantastic mix of white bass, crappie, and hybrid stripers. ​The Captain was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had an amazing time from start to finish. If you want a guide who genuinely knows the water and works hard to keep your lines tight, look no further. Highly recommend!

Chris knew just how to find the fish and was great at teaching us how to catch them. He was very generous with his time and took care of everything we needed for a successful fishing trip. We caught white bass, crappie, and catfish. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it very much.
