Gerry's Private Charters je porodična kompanija koja se nalazi u vodećem hotelu odmah pored čuvene plaže Beau Vallon. Osnovana je početkom '80-ih i ima decenije iskustva u ribolovu i korisničkom servisu.
Njihov Virgo je brod od 6 metara pokretan sa dva Suzuki četvorotaktna Lean Burn motora od 60 konjskih snaga. Lako može pristupiti većini skrivenih plaža za vreme oseke i povesti do 4 ribolovca u ribolov. Virgo je idealan za kratke izlete samo da se proveri da li riba grize, kao i za ribolov trollingom i dubinski ribolov. Virgo poseduje sve dozvole i ima osiguranje putnika do 80.000,00 dolara.
U zavisnosti od izleta koji odaberete, loviće se Bonito, Jack Crevalle, Rainbow Runner, arbun, barakuda, grouper, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi i žutoperajna tuna. Sva neophodna oprema i pribor će biti obezbeđeni, zajedno sa raznovrsnim mamcima, kako bi se omogućio dobar ulov. Ručak je dostupan na celodnevnim izletima, dok su pića i ribolovačke dozvole uključene u cenu svih tura.

Captain Gerry and first mate China made quick work of showing their skill and experience on our voyage. We were reeling in catch within a half an hour and even had a strike on the main line (the one that the BIG fish go after). Unfortunately, the thief avoided the business end of the bait.
The weather and luck took a negative turn but not the crews spirits. Singing was encouraged to fill the gaps as if we were Sirens trying to woo the fish to our lines. Gerry may have regretted requesting me to flex my golden pipes as my singing voice truly belongs a mile off shore. Next time, I will give him my rendition of the Sponge Bob theme song.
When it seemed like we were going to get skunked on the second half of our excursion, (First mate) China read the Ocean well enough to put us back into action. We had multiple poles zinging at the same time filling the boat with excitement once again. Even though I’m sure our time session had expired, she kept us in the sweet spot making sure that our experience was maximized. (Greatly appreciated China)
If/when I find myself back for another tour, I will be sure to break any silence with…,,
“Ooooooh, who lives in a pineapple under da Sea!”

We had a very successful fishing trip with Gerry and his partner. They took us to a spot with lots of fish which made my son super happy.
I would definitely book with Gerry again and will recommend him to my friends when they visit Mahe.
