Rishi has experience in fishing and in taking anglers eager to enjoy themselves. His boat is very well equipped. He is a true professional. I caught my first yellowfin tuna. The highlight of the day was provided by some local fishermen. They caught a fine blue marlin weighing approximately 175 kg. They couldn't get it on board, so we went over to lend a hand. Their technique was spot on. While reeling in with a small tuna hooked, they saw a large fish chasing it. They quickly cast a line with a small tuna on the hook from the fish caught earlier. We had an absolutely fantastic experience! Our 13-year-old son is passionate about fishing, and this trip was a dream come true for him. He was incredibly happy — especially when he managed to catch a huge tuna! The boat was very clean and well maintained, and the captain and his colleague were both extremely friendly, professional and welcoming. They really went above and beyond and put so much effort into making sure we had a successful fishing trip. And it definitely paid off! Seeing how happy and excited our son was made the whole experience unforgettable for us. A huge thank you to the crew for their patience, dedication and for making this such a special day.

We saw flying fish, jumping Mahi-Mahis and dolphins and we caught about 10 tunas, two of which about 50kg (ok, one of them got half eaten by a big shark, before we had it on board and the other unfortunately got lost on the last meter) and a Mahi-Mahi. My two sons were happy and also my 10yr old was able to drill two tunas in. Rishi and his colleague are pros and they know exactly what they're doing. Besides, they were very nice and uncomplicated. It was a lot of fun for us all! Full recommendation.

The sea was calm and the light was good. Rishi knew the water. His two mates knew it too. They did not talk much. They did not need to. My boy is twelve. Rishi treated him like a fisherman, not like a boy. That matters. The tuna came first. The line went tight and the boy held on and the mates stood close but let him fight it. Then the mahi mahi. It came up gold and green out of the blue water. A fine fish. A clean catch. The men worked well. No fuss. No wasted motion. When you watch men who know their trade, it is a good thing to watch. The Indian Ocean gave us what it gave us, and it gave us plenty. But it was Rishi and his crew who put us where the fish were. We came back with fish and salt on our skin and the boy could not stop talking about it. It was a good day. A true day. Go with Rishi. Bring your kid. Five stars.

Quelle magnifique sortie en mer avec Richie, un vrai pêcheur professionnel et surtout quelqu’un de passionné. Dès le départ, on sent qu’il connaît parfaitement son métier : il prend le temps d’expliquer comment tout fonctionne, les différentes techniques utilisées, le matériel, les zones de pêche, et il partage son expérience avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Nous avons eu la chance d’utiliser plusieurs méthodes de pêche au cours de la sortie, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus intéressante. À un moment, nous avons touché un très gros poisson, malheureusement la ligne a cassé… un moment aussi frustrant qu’excitant, qui montre bien que de très belles prises sont dans le secteur ! Et la persévérance de Richie a payé, puisque peu de temps après nous avons réussi à sortir un magnifique thon jaune d’environ 15 kg. Un superbe combat et un souvenir incroyable. Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, nous avons également eu la chance de croiser des dauphins. Richie a gentiment arrêté le bateau quelques minutes pour nous permettre de les admirer de plus près, un moment magique. Ce que j’ai particulièrement apprécié, c’est qu’on sent vraiment que Richie est là avant tout pour chercher le poisson et offrir une vraie expérience de pêche, avec passion et envie de bien faire. Il ne se contente pas simplement de faire une balade en mer : il veut sincèrement que ses clients vivent une vraie aventure et repartent avec de beaux souvenirs. Je recommande les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui veulent une vraie sortie pêche authentique à l’Île Maurice.
