Mike’s fishing charter was an absolute blast! My father and I have been avid fisherman our entire lives and Mike set a new standard for fishing! Not only was the fishing second-to-none, Mike was extremely professional, courteous, down-to-earth, and punctual. Mike’s boat and gear was top notch, clean, and well organized. I would not hesitate to book again with South Shore Smallmouth Charters and will highly recommend to family and friends. Thanks Mike!!

What a day with Captain Mike!!

Mike is a generous and knowledgeable guide who knows how to get you on fish. He has excellent equipment and went out of his way to tailor our trip to our needs to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted out of our day.
Lake St Clair is an excellent fishery that changes year over year and understanding the patterns of smallmouth is key to success. Mike went above and beyond in sharing his expertise with us to make sure we were successful not only on our charter but as we go forward fishing on the lake regularly. I would recommend this trip to any angler young or old, new to the sport or highly experienced. He even went to the trouble of putting together a video of our trip captured on his GoPro camera. It was an incredible experience that we will not forget.

Our trip was on a cold, windy day making the fishing difficult. Mike's expertise and guidance got us catching fish and enjoying our time on the water. Mike is a great guy and was determined to make our trip enjoyable and I can't thank him enough. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone whether you're an experienced angler or a beginner, Mike will put you in a position to succeed.
