Capt. Bob was great! He was friendly (but don’t drive close to him when he’s fishing he will get upset!! lol Found as great spot where BIG redfish were! He wanted to make sure we got something good. Cleaned our catch and packed us up!

The Captain really knew where to go and at exactly the right time!! We were on the fish with in minutes. His patience with our daughter and encouragement for her to fish was amazing. Thank you Captain Bob. We’ll definitely be dack!

My two sons and I met Captain Bob at 4:30 in the morning and were on the water and fishing in a blink of the eye. He got us on the fish and my two boys were reeling them in one after another. We caught flounder, speckled trout, and red fish. Fighting a bull red to the boat as the sky lightened in the east was an amazing experience. Captain Bob was a great charter host. He is well experienced at finding the fish, but also great at socializing during a 6 hour trip. The boat was about the minimum size for four people, but it worked pretty good. We caught close to our limit in trout and a slot red. Weather wasn’t perfect but he managed it well enough. Overall, we had a blast and would definitely seek him out for another charter!

Had a good time out on the water! Even though the fish weren’t really biting that day, our guide worked hard to put us on them. We ended up catching two huge redfish and a few speckled trouts. He knew exactly where to go, kept things interesting and made sure we all had what we needed to fish. Can’t say enough about how much effort he put in to make the trip memorable. Captain Bob was awesome I brought my kids to Galveston and booked this fishing trip with captain Bob very knowledgeable great atmosphere kept it positive on the boat with a slow start but he knew his spots would not disappoint. This trip was perfect because it literally took us about 10 minutes to get to the first spot and start fishing. Would definitely recommend Captain Bobs services for a great fishing trip. First trip to Texas and found Captain Bob online. We were warned about possible high winds but decided to try since we only have week time left. He suggested we head out early 5am this particular day and glad we did. He mentioned best biting time if they were feeding and took us to a nice place. He taught us how to fish the main species he works with and my son picked up immediately while I took little longer. We fished from 5:30-8:15 when we hit our daily limit and ran out of bait for catch n release to end this trip. We had a great time and highly recommend as he is easy to work with and gives best advice. Check with Captain Bob for good time to start depending on season and time of year. Start early and beat the sun. You can get a spectacular sunrise depending on weather while you fish!!! We were able to catch triple crown although the red was too small to keep. Next time!!!

Excellent Experience. Arrived early to Captain Bob's house and within minutes on boat and catching fish. We dominated the specks and caught 1 slot red. We couldn't ask for a better outcome and would highly recommended his guiding services again.
