Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Lingcod, Black Seabass, Rockfish, Black Rockfish, and who knows what else! On the day of your trip you're likely to bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Sweet Spot Guide Service welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Your vessel for the day is a 25' Edge aluminum fishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Raleigh has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We caught our limit with rock fish with in a few hours and went back in shore to catch the salmon bite. We had 3 other fisherman on board, the crew made sure everyone had their fair share of action. Raleigh and Todd were very enthusiastic about landing fish (and crab) and we got to take home plenty for friends and family. We would highly recommend for anyone looking to fish on the Oregon Coast

Capt. Raleigh and Mate Todd were fantastic. They were very easy and quick to communicate before the trip and the fishing was awesome.
