He took the five of us out of Ashtabula for a day of walleye fishing, and from the start, he made sure we had a great experience. We wanted to start by casting, even though he advised us that trolling would put fish in the boat much faster. Instead of pushing us into his preferred method, he respected what we wanted to do and took us to several hot spots so we could try our luck. We managed to catch two walleye casting before deciding to switch over. Once we started trolling, the trip really took off. It wasn't just sitting back and watching rods—Captain Bob made it an interactive, hands-on experience. He taught us everything we needed to know, explained the techniques, and made sure everyone got involved. After about three hours of trolling, we had landed a total of 30 fish! Whether you're an experienced angler or someone who's never been on a charter before, Captain Bob has the knowledge, patience, and personality to make it an unforgettable trip. Was a great day fishing other than the ruff water conditions. Captian Robert put us on fish right away. like how the Captain lets us fish and take care of poles, net our own fish and helps were needed. were go fishing as family and Captain Robert has become part of the family. highly recommend and can’t wait till next year.

Our group was myself; my three boys 12, 11, and 9; and their grandfather. Captain Turner and Chad were great with the kids, had us reeling in fish nearly immediately and the action never stopped. Couldn’t ask for a better experience for the boys.

Captain Bob took us out and put us right on the fish. We had our first walleye in the boat in just minutes. In a couple hours the cooler was full. Captain Bob was very proactive and attentive making the trip fun and memorable.

Captain Bob and his First Mate Brian were incredible. Took us right to fish and our group had non-stop action until we limited out within a few hours landing some very big Walleye. Both crew worked together extremely well and Brian had our whole group laughing throughout the trip. All 6 in our group would strongly recommend Turner Loose Charters. When we go back to Lake Erie, we know who we’re going to call…Turner Loose Charters!

We are from Pennsylvania. Drove to Ohio to charter a boat out of Ashtabula to fish for Walleye. The Captain was more than accommodating. I like to bait cast. He was willing to go get worms for me to do so. Awesome guy!. My husband and I have taken several charters out of different ports on Erie. We caught our limit, and some very nice ones at that. We got back to that area. We will definitely be booking with him.

Captain Bob and his first mate Brian were like friends that we knew all of our lives we fish like we knew each other forever they were great guys and the fishing was great too we caught our limit by 7:30 . They cleaned our fish and bagged them up to put in the freezer when we got home . It was a great experience . I will definitely use them again

I wanted to have my boys experience what good fishing can be like since all they have ever caught were small panfish. Captain Bob surpassed my expectations and that of my boys who were truly impressed not only by the number of fish we caught but their size as well. The main reason I chose Bob was because of his relaxed attitude towards fishing and making the trip about the experience and not just getting out and back as soon as possible. He had the patience to teach my boys about Lake Erie walleye fishing and they loved being involved in almost every aspect except running the boat! I will be forever grateful for what Captain Bob did for us and will be looking to book another trip.

We arrived with a nice greeting from the captain. We were out for 5 hours caught are limit and came back in. Was a very great time with good conversation and some kidding around that kept the hole trip in a great mood. I would definitely recommend this charter boat for your fishing experience
