Captain Manolis – Rhodes island

This was our second trip on the Captain Manolis, it's a fun half day fishing experience for all the family, with a dip in the sea with snorkels, followed by an excellent fish barbecue and salad prepared on board. Your hosts are fantastic, they help you catch and provide plenty of humour during the trip, no fishing experience required. This is not a deep sea fishing experience, the tuna was an unexpected bonus as we did some trawling on the way back. If you want to do some deep fishing, you can book this it costs about 800 euros. We will be back fishing with the Boss and the Captain when we return to Rhodes

Great trip with a great International Team on Board. Caught Bonitos and had Lots of funktioniert btw Germany beats denmark and hungary 100% to 40% to 33.3%

We went to fishing for the first time on the Mediterranean sea on this trip or actually I had tried some fishing a day before from the shore and tried to catch any fish on a lures, but with no luck. On this trip we got many fishes and a few small species (Red Porgy, Pearly Razorfish and Puffer fish). The last mentioned were all killed, because they are an invasive species from the Red sea and also very toxic. We were bottom fishing with normal spinning reel and rod. The line had some hooks and baits. After the fishing, we went to anchor and there was possibility to swim while the captain was making us food. And we had some very good and freshly grilled fish with greek salad. After that we headed back to the harbour. The trip was fun and for the price it was very good. The captain surely know his waters and knows the spots. However I would have liked to know a bit better what fish we are trying to get and some other things to be explained at first. I think we also had a little language barried between us sometimes. After all I can sure recommend this trip to all (beginners and families) intrested in light fishing at the sea. The views are extra beautiful also!

Had a fantastic morning fishing, caught puffer fish and red mullet, the BBQ was amazing and the Greek salad was top class. Recommend for any one looking for a casual fishing experience For serious fishing best book the whole day

The fishing trip was the highlight of the holiday even though only small fish was caught due to the high waves it was great to relax and enjoy swimming and delicious fish grilled on the barbecue. Captain and his partner was very friendly and family oriented and was a pleasure to meet and spend time with them. Thank you again for a wonderful trip 😊
