I cannot even describe how amazing and delightful Captain Andrew was! He was fun, chipper, knowledgeable, and super attentive to everyones needs. He baited our hooks each time, let us take pictures after each catch, taught us the best tricks and tips for fishing in the biloxi area, kept his boat neat and clean, gave a safety briefing before going out, was ethical as one can be with the fish while fishing, and was just an overall joy to be around. I can safely say that other charter captains in the area do not do those things, as we experienced with another charter the day before. The weather put us at a disadvantage, but he was able to put us on the fish regardless and gave us awesome memories! He filleted our catch, bagged them for us, and even bagged us some ice due to us forgetting ours! He was determined for his customers to have the best experience by getting to the bait shop early to get live bait before selling out. We did the 6 hr trip and he was even more than willing to let us make pit stops to use the restroom along the way. We mentioned that we had previously bought a boat in the area, and that we were doing the charter to expand our experience with fishing in this area. Let me tell you… my jaw dropped whenever he said that we had a phone-a-friend incase we ever broke down or needed help in some way with our boat! Just an amazing captain with a wealth of knowledge! We were able to catch red drum, black drum, catchfish, croaker, and a stingray!

Captain Andrew was awesome, me and my wife are new to Salt water fishing and after 1-1/2 years of finding a couple fish here and there we decided to hire a charter to show us the ropes. We were immediately on fish in a spot that I would’ve never stopped at before hand because I thought the shallow is where I needed to be. Captain Andrew spent the day showing us what to look for and how to broaden the search for fish with different rigs and baits. We are excited to use our new knowledge going forward and would highly recommend Blackfoot charters for a fun day of catching fish with an awesome captain.

Captain Andrew moved several times in order to put us on good eating fish. We were on fish almost immediately, but they were not our target fish. He knew the bay inside and out and moved when we were not catching our target fish. Overall this was a great experience. I would suggest booking as soon as you have a date available as he is sure to fill up fast. See you next year Captain Andrew.

I can not say enough about this trip. As someone that has fished both charters, and private owned boats, there’s always a little skepticism for me when it comes to charters. You just never know what you’re going to get. Capt. Andrew blew it out of the water! Fantastic guide! Very familiar with the territory, very driven to produce great catches! and the best part, the group felt like we were just fishing with an old friend, not a stranger. I cannot recommend him enough! From here own out he will be our guy for Gulf Coast fishing trips!

Captain Andrew was entertaining, helpful and very knowledgeable. We did a 4 hour trip and caught a ton of fish, about 10 for each of us. He was helpful by teaching us different techniques depending on the fish we were trying to catch. His boat was beautiful and spotless. He had great bait and we really had a blast fishing at several different locations! We came home with about 15 keepers that he cleaned at the dock and suggested best way to cook them. Our freshly caught dinner was delicious! Highly recommend Black Dot charters and Captain Andrew!
