Sam-I-Am II Charters 

Sam-I-Am II Charters is a full-time company that offers Lake Michigan fishing trips out of Racine, Wisconsin. Captain Jeff and first mate Sam are dedicated to providing a great experience to all their clients and friends. They guarantee an excellent catch on each and every trip or you won't have to pay!

You will go out aboard the 'Sam-I-Am II', which is a 30-foot long and 12-foot wide Searay Amberjack. She was designed with comfort and stability in mind and is well-prepared for the current bite. It comes powered by twin Mercruiser engines, producing 560 HP to get you to the fishing grounds quickly and safely. Perfect for accommodating up to six anglers, the 'Sam-I-Am II' is rigged with the latest navigational electronics, Bigjon down riggers, and a live well fully loaded with bait.

Lake Michigan Salmon fishing is a rewarding experience, especially when you are in the company of Captain Jeff and his first mate Sam. Trolling for Salmon is the way to get away from the everyday routine and make a great catch possible.

The season begins in late spring, when it's time to target Coho Salmon as they make their way north from the southern end of Lake Michigan. When the surface begins to warm up, Coho go crazy! During the summer months, you will be able to add tough fighter Chinook Salmon to the list. Late summer is a good time for Rainbow Trout. If you are planning your fishing trip in early fall, you could get your hands full of mature Salmon and target Brown Trout, which are abundant during this time.

A fishing trip includes quality gear, tackle, and lures. The crew will send your catch home cleaned so that you could taste it for dinner later. Salmon make great table fare, perfect for the grill. You will need to purchase your license prior to the trip.
