Od kada se preselio u Ucluelet, kapetan Brendon je proveo svaki mogući minut na okeanu loveći Chinook i Coho losose uz obalu. Bez obzira na doba godine, pronalazio ih je i kada drugi nisu mogli ili kada su morali da idu na velike udaljenosti. Minnesota Charters ima svoje tajne lokacije za punjenje posuda. Ako vremenske prilike dozvole, možemo i ploviti ka pučini, ako želite, da lovimo Halibut i Lingcod.
Kapetan koristi zabavnu tehniku za lov halibuta koja je slična onoj koju je koristio za lov soma u reci Misisipi, i zaista dobro funkcioniše. Ako idete na celodnevni izlet, možemo loviti i škampe. Ovo je jedna od retkih charter agencija u Ucluelet-u koja nudi lov na škampe. Po povratku s pecanja (u luci), proveravaju se i zamke za rakove u nadi da će se pronaći veliki mužjaci Dungeness kraba.
Potpuno licenciran i osiguran od strane Transport Canada i Kanadske obalske straže, jer je bezbednost uvek na umu kapetana. Ucluelet i okolne vode mogu biti nepredvidivi ponekad, ali kapetan uvek prati vremenske prilike i stanje vode kako bi osigurao bezbednost svih, uključujući sigurnosnu elektroniku, puni radar, GPS, VHF radio i EPIRB.
Kapetan razume da danas sve može biti skupo, ali ribolov ne bi trebalo da bude među tim stvarima, pa nudi sniženu cenu kako bi izašao u susret različitim ljudima. Ovo može da ponudi jer je brod manji od većine charter flote i samim tim ekonomičniji za održavanje.

Went fishing during the Herring spawn. 15 minutes bites in we saw a whale breaching and showing us her tail. Caught 4 chinook. Then just when you think it couldn’t get any better, about 30 bald eagles started attacking a herring bait ball driven to the surface by diving birds. Take that National Geographic!!
Captain Brandon knows his stuff! Cool bits of information about the people who have lived here forever, the politics of the fisheries, the animals and of course the fish and how to catch them. Brandon is worth more than he’s charging. Can’t wait to come back.

Best Charter in years

Captain Brandon was amazing, the communication before the charter was spot on with the links for a fishing license and directions to the marina. We dropped crab traps on the way out and then off to fish. Captain Brandon was very knowledgeable about the history of Ucluelet and fishing,we had good conversations and banter during the charter. Boat and gear was in great condition. Would highly recommend Minnesota charters!

My 18 year-old grandson wanted to fish in his grandmother so my husband and I gifted him this trip for Christmas. It was the first time he had saltwater fish, Captain Brandon went out of his way to make this trip unforgettable. My grandson landed three salmon, and one Pacific cod, the memories we made during this trip will never be forgotten. Our end of day Bonus was-the spot prawns the captain gifted us to take home thank you very much. Everything you did was truly appreciated.

My son and I booked with Minnesota Charters for a day trip off the coast of Ucluelet. The trip exceeded our expectations. The trip was one of the most affordable on the booking site but we couldn't have had a better experience no matter what we paid. We both limited out on Chinook and Rockfish, saw some gorgeous coastal waterways, wildlfe and landscapes and enjoyed every minute of time on the water with Captain Brandon. We have been on many charter fishing trips in varying locations but had the best experience we have ever had fishing with Brandon. Highly highly recommend booking with Minnesota Charters.

An Unforgettable Ucluelet Adventure!

Our family recently took a fishing charter with Captain Brandon of Minnesota Charters, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. We're a family of four with two young sons, and Brandon made sure it was an unforgettable day for all of us.
He took us to some amazing spots, and we were thrilled to catch some beautiful and unique fish. What truly set this trip apart was Captain Brandon’s incredible knowledge of fishing, the local waters, and marine life. He was patient and great with our boys, teaching them the right techniques while also sharing fascinating facts about the ocean.
We also deeply appreciated his commitment to conservation and respect for nature. It was clear he takes great pride in protecting the environment and ensuring responsible fishing practices. It felt good knowing we were in the hands of someone who genuinely cares about the ocean.
If you're looking for an amazing, educational, and fun fishing charter in Ucluelet, we can't recommend Captain Brandon and Minnesota Charters enough. It was the highlight of our vacation and a memory our family, especially our sons, will cherish forever.
