These waters are known for Black Grouper, Dusky Grouper, Gag Grouper, Grunt, Hogfish, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Needlefish, Lane Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. For these species, you're likely to use light or heavy tackle.
You'll step aboard a 34' Baja center console with room for 12 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your Captain has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
