3/4 Day Tripna jun 24, 2025 • 2 odrasle osobeCaptain Mike took a couple of South Louisiana boys (my 14 yr old son and I) out for a half day trip on Galveston Bay. Learned a new technique (dredge fishing), specs were large and plentiful, and my son caught a new PB 24 incher. Captain Mike was great to deal with. Communication was easy, and appreciated his openness about what species were biting at this time of year. Boat was in great condition with plenty of room. Would definitely recommend him as a guide!

WINTER SPECIAL 2024na septembar 7, 2023 • 2 odrasle osobeWe ended our week in Texas by going on a fishing trip with Captain Mike. From the beginning to the end was a great time. Fishing did start out a little bit slow, which is by no means the guides fault, you cant tell the fish when to bite, however, we did catch some fish us Iowans have never heard of! We caught redfish (that put up a great fight), black drum, and trout. (we had no idea saltwater trout was a thing, or that they had teeth!) Along with the fish we caught, we did also see some dolphins. For bait we did do the live bait option which does cost extra but it was recommended for our trip. I wasn't counting but we caught probably almost 10 fish throughout the trip. Since it did start out slow, Mike was generous enough to give us 30 extra minutes, which is when we caught some nice redfish. This was overall a great experience, Captain Mike was very nice and easy to have a conversation with, and even educated us on the fish we were catching. He also does take pictures for you and sends them to you after your trip so you can enjoy your fishing and still have pictures, this was a huge plus for me! No complaints from us and memories we won't forget. Thanks, Captain Mike!

My boyfriend and I booked this trip to celebrate our one year, and it was an unforgettable time. We caught loads of black drum and trout! Even caught a 35lb black drum! I cannot recommend this guide more!

5-Hour Trip with Captain Mike
4.5 Hour Trip – Specialna avgust 6, 2023 • 2 odrasle osobeCaptain Mike communicated the weather to us very well and ultimately it was our decision the night before if we wanted to go out even though it was going to be windy. We decided to go and we caught fish at every spot Captain Mike took us. We had a great time and will definitely book with him again the next time we are in town.

it was a great day. limits of trout and a bonus big red. cant ask for anything more. thanks for the trip.
I booked this trip for my wife's first saltwater fishing experience. Captain Mike was patient and took his time making sure she knew how to use the equipment and worked hard to keep us both on fish. We limited on trout plus several keeper drum and a 27" redfish. A big bonus was a 20 minute fight with a jack that Captain Mike estimated at 50 pounds. I got him close enough to the boat to see several times but he ultimately broke off. On light tackle, it was amazing. Captain Mike used the boat perfectly to keep me with line available to work the fish. I'll definitely book with him again. Highest possible recommendation!
