my 2 sons and i went out with Captain dirk and GW. The first couple hours, it was on and on rain. At one point, it was raining hard for about 10 minutes, and we were the only boat on the lake. That did not stop them from keeping us fishing. We had a great time hearing them banter and tell old stories back and forth. They did a great job making sure my 9 - and 19 yr old sons had a blast. It was a tough bite that day, but that didn't keep them from trying to help us limit out. we still ended up with about 15 keepers, which is plenty for us. the trip said 3-4 hrs, but they kept with it for about 6-7 hrs, making sure we tried everything possible. We will definitely be going back and booking with Captain dirk again!!

Had such a great time with our captain, full of great information, we started off with a stormy morning, but we stayed with the trip and had the best time for my father-in-law for his birthday, we will book again in the future.

We had an amazing time on our guide celebrating my 11-year-old’s birthday! It was a perfect mix of fun and learning. Captain Dirk was super friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. We got to catch some great fish, and he took the time to teach us all about the techniques and the best spots to fish. My kid had a blast, and it was a memorable way to celebrate. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun family outing with a bit of learning mixed in!

I got this trip as a gift for my 21st birthday with Dirk Champlin and it was even better then we hoped, we had a late start due to weather there was some lightning and of course didn't want to go out on the water with lightning but even then once the lightning quite enough for us the go out we got to do the full 6 hour trip we paid for a then some, we caught 16 fish and released about 8 and at the end Dirk filleted them good for us. I caught the biggest fish (a 30in Striper) and most fish I've ever caught and it started out rainy but turned into a really great trip! I'd definitely recommend and want to go again!

We were 2 couples fishing with Captain Dirk. It was a very still morning but he put us on some good fish. We boated back into the ramp for a few minutes and then back out to a new spot. Captain Dirk hit it out of the park as we were all catching big fish as fast as he could get them off the hook. We had a blast and we will definitely come back.

Dirk Champlin is a great fishing guide. He knows Lake Texoma like the back of his hand and he finds fish. He told us numerous times what to expect and it happened just as he said it would. Dirk is a family man and he honors his wife by his work ethic. I am 63 and have fished all of my life, and have always believed that it’s called fishing and not catching. We booked this trip as part of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! Dirk was not only a lot of fun, but he did what it took to put us on the fish! The morning started off great, and even tho we hit a bit of a lull, he was persistent and didn't give up until we both limited out, something we've not experienced with other guides we've fished with before. We can't thank him enough and we'll definitely be calling him next time we're fishing Texoma!

His expert knowledge and skills defiantly made the difference for what could’ve been a tuff day on the water. He put us on the fish and knew exactly where to go for a great catch and loads of fun. We had a great fishing trip! Went out and got stuck in the weather but still was able to catch all of our limit. We got a lot of Big fish on the trip. Dirk was great and made our Father’s Day trip memorable. Definitely would book again.
