If fishing in Puerto Vallarta is on your bucket list, look no further than Fintastic Fishing PV.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Red Grouper, Mackerel, Pacific Barracuda, Bonito, Skipjack Tuna, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, and who knows what else! For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You'll be dropping lines from a 28' Super Panga with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had a great time! Took our boys out for a 4 hour AM trip and the captain and deckhand were wonderful. They were informative, accommodating and spoke English! We caught fish and we scored by spotting some humpback whales. They cleaned our fish and even took us down to a restaurant on the marina that cooked our fish for us. We definitely recommend that restaurant too, “sticky fingers” right on the exit of the dock. What a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!!

We did the 6 hour bay fishing. We caught plenty of Spanish mackerel and Bonita! The ceviche was the best I’ve ever had! So fresh! Definitely would recommend!
