GREAT Guide Service!

Captain Cody wasn't able to guide but his dad, Captain Mike stepped in. Captain Mike is such a wonderful person! He is super knowledgeable of the lake. The bite was slow in the morning but then again it was a very cold February morning. We were able to land two stripers. The bite got cold. Captain Mike changed the fishing style a few times before he found and netted some shads. After that...It was game over the stripers. We ended up catching 40 stripers in all. Captain Mike is THE MAN! Thank you for a wonderful outing. Would love to book some more trips in the future.

Steckel Fishing is the best fishing guide for Lake Mead. This is a father and son team with many years of experience with top notch boats and equipment. Excellent communication and very responsive. You will most likely get tired from pulling in so many fish. Be sure to bring a cooler and ice for the fish. We will definitely be booking more trips with Cody and his father.

Caught 40 striper!!
Fished w/ live bait and even took time to get some more.
Put us on the fish right away.
My buddy and I had an amazing time.

We caught 104 fish in 6 hours!

We broke the boat record catching 104 fish on a six hour charter with just my girlfriend and I. It was her first time fishing and she caught the largest fish (10.5 lb carp). Steckel fishing was the best experience I have ever had in 43 years of fishing! Captain Mike was amazing, the pontoon boar was immaculate, it was shaded so were not burning in the sun, he cleaned the fish afterwards, provided cold waters and ice, and made sure we were having the best time! We are already booking again with them in the future!

Excellent Guide and Beautiful Place to Fish

Captain Cody was an excellent guide. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the lake, he also worked hard to ensure we caught fish. The scenery on Lake Mead is beautiful and was worth the trip alone. Brand new boat and good gear enhanced our experience. I recommend Steckel Fishing to anyone looking to fish on Lake Mead.
