You're likely to go after Whiting, Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, Atlantic Mackerel, Pollock, Striped Bass, Lingcod, Haddock, Cod, Porbeagle Shark, Mako Shark, and more, depending on the time of year. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Stevens Fishing Charters are open to the whole family, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Capt. Leiland welcomes you aboard a 35' JC Downeast that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
