Stevens Fishing Charters
Hampton has a fish with your name on it, so let Stevens Fishing Charters help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Leiland can tell you all about them.
You're likely to go after Whiting, Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, Atlantic Mackerel, Pollock, Striped Bass, Lingcod, Haddock, Cod, Porbeagle Shark, Mako Shark, and more, depending on the time of year. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Stevens Fishing Charters are open to the whole family, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Capt. Leiland welcomes you aboard a 35' JC Downeast that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Leland and his first mate Selena were amazing. We had the best time. We had kind of a rainy day in the morning and Captain Leland let us change our time at the last minute which was so kind of him. We caught two fish, and most importantly, my father had a great time since it was a Father's Day outing.
Thank You Lara for the kind response!!!
Took my father out with for as a Father’s Day gift. He caught the biggest bass of his life! Can’t put a price on that. Captain and his first mate were amazing as well! (Seriously they were amazing) Would recommend to anyone looking for a great afternoon or morning.
They tried all day to get us on fish, but some days its just not possible. High winds causing white caps even in the harbour made it difficult. Even the mackerel were hard to locate. Still an all around great experience! I would gladly recommend Stevens fishing charter to anyone.
The First mate was incredible and the captain first rate awesome guy , although we didnt catch a lot of trip the experience was awesome , looking ti book a Tuna trip with the same crew asap
Thank You Mark, also thanks for your generous tip. I wish the fishing was better today, but I think that wind blowing so hard kept them home.. thanks again and I look forward to seeing you at some other time.
