RJ & Sons Charters
RJ & Sons Charters
Make some memories in Cortland and go fishing with RJ & Sons Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Richard can tell you all about them.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Catfish, and whatever else is biting. For these fish, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
You'll be dropping lines from a 20' Bass Tracker pontoon boat with space for 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with RJ & Sons Charters!
