Make the most of your time in Indian Head and go fishing with Indian Head Charters.
These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Snakehead, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to spin using light tackle. Capt. Mike also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
You'll step aboard a 17' Lowes aluminum fishing boat with room for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Mike has rods and reels for you, along with lures. June, July and August only.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Cigars are welcome too.

I booked hoping to gain knowledge on bass fishing with hopes to catch fish. I learned so much, had a ton of fun, but also CAUGHT BIG FISH!!! 100% my new favorite charter and will be booking this fequently!

Mike provided an excellent breakdown of how environmental factors—like tides, plant life, sun and moon positions, and fish behavior—affect where bass feed and how they respond. He made the science behind it easy to understand and apply. We caught several largemouth bass and snakehead. Highly recommend!
