Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 25' Sea Fox center console with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Capt Dewey knew exactly where to take us and was endlessly patient with our kids and was funny, warm and fun to be around. He baited about a thousand hooks! we caught redfish, white perch and even a 4 lb catfish (threw it back). I would highly recommend a charter with Capt Dewey!

Caught alot of catfish & smaller red fish, but no keepers. Dewey tried several different fishing holes but still no keepers. The boys had fun & we will ve back bext year & hoping for better luck!

From the moment we met the captain we knew we would have a good day. Every stop we caught fish and even caught a 30lb black drum. We caught some reds but he had us on some big ones but the smaller ones kept biting first. I would recommend this trip for anyone beginner to experienced. We will use captain Dewey next time we are in orange beach.

We had a contest with who could catch the most and the biggest my daughter caught 13 and I caught the biggest!! Captain Dewey taught my son some things about the boat and I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants a good memorable time!

Dewey was an excellent captan, very interactive & funny! I took 5 boys from Nebraska fishing & they had a blast. Caught alot of catfish & smaller red fish, but no keepers. Very personable captain, eager to re tye our lines, bait us up, quick to move us to other locations for fishing. He was on time and pleasant with us the entire time We will definitely be coming back. My husband and I spent a four hour morning and really enjoyed our inshore trip . Wear sunscreen for sure!!
