These waters are home to Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Great Barracuda, Ladyfish and more. You can expect to do some spinning or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Luis also offers fly fishing trips. During your adventure, you'll enjoy the amazing scenery in Laguna Torrecilla, one of the most complex ecosystems in the area.
You'll be casting lines from a 22' Boston Whaler with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time, so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Some species might be protected, so make sure you know what to expect. Keep in mind that Tarpon is catch-and-release only. Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard (up to 7 years old)! It's always wise to bring snacks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Capt. Luis will have some drinks available for you.

Had an unreal 6 hour trip throwing big glidebaits for staging fish. Captain Luis is an incredible guide with a ton of knowledge when it comes to finding fish. He used the trolling motor and livescope to find fish and was awesome at coaching me in how to present the lures to the fish for best chances at hooking up. Overall we hooked up and jumped 7 fish all over the 50 pound class, with a few other follows from even bigger fish. Incredible experience out on the water and a great opportunity to land fish of a lifetime on artificial baits
day 3/3 we hooked into 4 or 5 monster tarpon, snapped our leaders, all around super fun 3 days will be back to challenge the silver king again with these guys for sure.
the captain made it real easy. whether u have experience or not. i told him i wanted to catch tarpon he took me to a bunch of spots. he made sure i got my money’s worth !!
Luis was hands down, THE BEST! He worked his butt off to get our 101lb, 62” tarpon to the boat! He worked for nearly 2 hours with my boyfriend to get it to the boat. He took so may pics and videos for us to have! Would 10/10 book with Luis again. He made a promise to us and he did not disappoint! He knows those waters like the back of his hand! Professional, educational & friendly. Worth every penny. Wonderful experience.
Captain Cody worked hard to get us on tarpon. We appreciated the boating etitquite he showed other boaters on the water. We had a great time getting to know him. He provided nice tackle and awesome guide service.
