Aleksandar Sale Drakulic is here to give you a personal experience on the wild waters of Novi Sad. He is a permanent contributor to fishing magazines, editor of the 'Catch the Trophy' production show. He has been fishing for 45 years. He fishes in all the rivers in the region and beyond.

Aleksandar specializes in spinning or casting a popping cork, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. You may need to bring your own gear for this trip or rent some for an extra fee. Contact Aleksandar ahead of time so you know what to expect and come prepared.

These waters are known for Catfish, Pike Perch (Zander), Northern Pike, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself!

Any keeper fish caught during the trip are yours to take home. Now that's a fresh meal! You're welcome to bring a group as large as 2 on this guided experience. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.

Everyone in your group should buy a local fishing license ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock, sunglasses, and bottled water, no matter the weather.
