Finatical Charters “SO FINATICAL”
Destin has a fish with your name on it, so let Finatical Charters help you catch it! Captain Blake & captain chip Godwin will be your guide, so you'll benefit from their local experience.
These waters are known for Swordfish, Gag Grouper, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Amberjack, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Blake is happy to have kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be fishing aboard a 57' Sportfishing with room for 1 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, time to hit the water with Finatical Charters!
