Target striped, blue, and black marlin, yellowfin tuna, dorado, wahoo, and roosterfish with a crew that practices catch-and-release for all billfish using circle hooks.
Captain Greg was born and raised in Cabo from a family of fishermen — 20 years reading these waters — supported by mate Ubiel and a full English-speaking crew. Add a private chef for a fresh-cooked feast on board, or book our evening sunset cruise (up to 12 guests) for the most beautiful hour on the Pacific.
We depart from K Dock, Slip 2, Centro Marina — directly across from Agua Salada Grill, an easy 2-minute walk into the marina. Arrive 15 minutes early, step aboard, and let the crew handle everything else.

Boat was beautiful and in immaculate shape. Crew was phenomenal and all the gear was top notch. We caught two beautiful fish and had a great day. Captain Greg is a serious professional, while still being hospitable and friendly. Would recommend to anyone going to Cabo

I've reached out re: an overcharge when paying the captain and have yet to hear back from a supervisor. Updated review: Lionheart earned this update. The situation wasn’t straightforward, but they kept communicating with me and ultimately resolved it. After more than 30 years of fishing—from bass tournaments to deep sea trips—I’ve seen just about everything, and every now and then something new pops up. It did, and they took care of it. I’m revising my review to a 4.
Hi Janeen, thank you for joining us on the March 25, 2026 LionHeart Cabo charter. We were pleased to have you on board and worked hard to provide an enjoyable day of fishing. To clarify the payment: Fishing Booker requires a deposit at booking (which was paid and covers their commission). The remaining balance of $3600 is due for the charter services and may be paid through their platform or directly to the captain. After fishing, you informed the captain and crew that payment had been made through Fishing Booker. As we have never encountered this before, we believed you and allowed you to leave. We then followed up with multiple texts and phone calls. The balance was settled via credit card the next day. Since we do not have a credit card machine on the boat, we had to borrow one to process the payment one day after services were delivered. The local VAT (16% IVA) required by Mexican regulations in Cabo was applied — this is standard. Fishing Booker confirmed the payment was made and then canceled. We have submitted full documentation to their support and are awaiting escalation. It is unfortunate this occurred, as we have never had an issue with same-day payment in all our years operating charters, and we received no direct call to discuss the matter. For context on our service quality: On Fishing Booker, we hold a 4.7/5 rating from 5 reviews (previous 4 were all 5-star). This is the only review preventing a perfect 5-star rating. We strive for clear communication and fair dealings. We hope this provides helpful context and wish you safe travels and tight lines.
