During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Anglers of all sorts are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
Your vessel for the day is a 55' Gillman sportfishing vessel with space for 17 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Justin will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It's customary to tip the Mate 15-20% to show your appreciation.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Our family wanted to fish while in Miramar Beach. We wanted a guide that was from the Destin area and knew where to go to catch fish on a 6 hour trip. Justin on Un-Reel is the perfect guide for this! If we make it back here in the future I will book him again but for a longer trip. He and his crew were fantastic! Super friendly and wanted you to catch fish and not just go for a boat ride. Our fishing group limited out on Red Snapper and caught Amberjack- released and Gag Grouper - released. Amazing experience!
Had an awesome trip. The captain was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to put us on fish the whole time. The boat was clean, gear was solid, and the overall experience was great. Would definitely book again and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun fishing trip.
Captain Justin Destin and Rodney were excellent. Both worked hard to provide a great experience. We caught fish and had a great time due to their focus on customer service. Highly recommend Un Reel - first class setup!
